The AFCEA North Carolina Innovation Summit convenes the military, government, industry, and academic communities to address the operational and technological challenges shaping today's national security environment.
The 2027 Summit centers on Decision Advantage at the Edge - connecting warfighter requirements with the technologies, data, networks, people, and partnerships needed to make better decisions and act faster in complex and contested environments.
Key Focus Areas
The Summit will explore innovation and modernization across the multi-domain operating environment, including:
- Air Superiority – Advancing capabilities that enable freedom of action and operational effectiveness in the air domain.
- Space Advantage – Leveraging resilient space-enabled capabilities to support operations at the tactical edge.
- Cyber Dominance – Protecting critical systems, networks, and data while enabling operations in contested environments.
- Land Power – Equipping and enabling the warfighter through modernization, connectivity, autonomy, and emerging technology.
- Maritime Control – Advancing interoperable capabilities that strengthen awareness, connectivity, and operational effectiveness across the maritime domain.
Cross-cutting discussions will address AI, autonomy, C5ISR, resilient communications, data advantage, command and control, human-machine teaming, cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies affecting the future force.
Your participation has an impact beyond the Summit. Proceeds support STEM scholarships for North Carolina students and grants for K–12 educators—investing today in the technology leaders, innovators, and warfighters of tomorrow.

If selected to present, you will be required to confirm your participation by December 15, 2026
Session Length
Sessions will take place on Wednesday, February 17th and Thursday, February 18th. Sessions will be limited to 60 minutes.
